Pre Covid-19 Events and Outings
Bokmakierie conducts outings during special days at the school and in the South African calendar. We hold a belief that installing caring nature in all our children is an important asset for the children to grow into caring responsible members of our society at large. Most of these outings are organised by the school to facilities in the immediate vicinity of our community.
Valentine Day Celebration
The history of Valentine’s Day—and the story of its patron saint—is shrouded in mystery. We do know that February has long been celebrated as a month of romance and that St. Valentine’s Day, as we know it today, contains components of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. How did Saint Valentine, become associated with this ancient rite?
2018 Mofat Day
Robert Moffat (21 December 1795 – 9 August 1883) was a Scottish Congregationalist missionary to Africa, father of Mary Moffat Livingstone and father-in-law of David Livingstone, and first translator of the Bible into Setswana. The reason why Robert Moffat is celebrated as a humanitarian.
